4–6 April 2013, Austria, Salzburg – 4th London-Innsbruck Colloquium on Status Epilepticus and Acute Seizures

The previous colloquia (London 2007, Innsbruck 2009, and Oxford 2011) were highly successful, and these biannual colloquia have become a popular feature of the international epilepsy calendar. The meetings have successfully rekindled interest in Status Epilepticus, and have followed in direct lineage the traditions of the Marseilles Colloquium held in 1962 and the two Santa Monica meetings on this topic held in 1980 and 1997. This fourth colloquium will be held in the beautiful surroundings of Salzburg, and will bring together scientists, academics and clinicians in what will be a most innovative and exciting programme. The conference will focus on current basic and clinical research in status epilepticus, clinical aspects and new therapies – with the aim of stimulating thought and discussion and improving treatment and outcome in this devastating condition.
