4–6 March 2013, USA, Winston Salem – Prostate Cancer Research and Translation Symposium
Nationally recognized experts in prostate cancer will share the latest clinical advances in managing localized and advanced disease as well as state-of-the-art basic science research. With a focus on opportunities and challenges in prostate cancer research – and the need to align research with clinical need – the symposium is designed for urologists, medical and radiation oncologists, allied health professionals, and basic and translational scientists.
The course will communicate advances in prostate cancer research; recognize clinical needs and niches in prostate cancer translational research to foster collaboration between clinicians and researchers; and enhance advancement of science to improve health of patients with prostate cancer. At the conclusion of this CME activity, the learner should be better able to:
Discuss the role of PSA in prostate cancer screening
Describe indications and usage of prostate cancer vaccine
Recognize indications and usage of chemotherapy in prostate cancer
Identify areas of research
